Our sheep came to us in January 2023 from the Pennsylvania SPCA. They were part of a large seizure for cruelty and neglect where over 90 animals were removed from a single property. We agreed to take two sheep; welcome Hester and Helen! Hester was very bold and curious while Helen was, well, sheepish. Both girls were loaded with parasites and very underweight. We worked quickly to get the parasites under control and build up their diets as they acclimated to their new home. A few weeks after arrival, we were surprised to find that Hester birthed a healthy baby boy. Welcome, Harvey. An unexpected, but exciting surprise!
